PHLEGM v8 — Checkpoint 77 — Preserve Visible White Faces
CHOP render fix: Before this checkpoint, the 1-pixel inward black silhouette outline could cover an entire thin projected face at edge-on yaw. Several frames displayed as all-black silhouettes.
Changed: draw exterior outlines one pixel on the transparent side of the visible/occlusion-correct silhouette. Inside creases are drawn on just one owner side; 5-degree near-coplanar suppression and complete front-facing depth raster remain.
All 16 yaw frames retain original opaque white polygon pixels even if the model becomes only one projected pixel wide.
The 5% maximum-dimension-relative minimum material thickness and checkpoint 76 End-User packaging retention are unchanged.
Runtime marker: CHOP: <N> models baked. White faces / exterior-black silhouettes / front crease wire (77).
Regression: tests/chop-selftest.bas checks front-facing white pixels in all models/frames, coplanar seam suppression and exterior vs interior ink placement.
Validation: ZIP integrity and independent Python reference-render checks. Native FreeBASIC compiler unavailable here; Windows visual test not performed.
Next step: metallic near-coplanar averaged-normal surface lighting for 3D icons (separate checkpoint).
